Each member of our team has a different background, life story and journey. We consider ourselves to be global citizens, proud of our roots and Motherland. Get to know us in detail.
“Chaye pe Charcha” means conversation over a cup of Tea. Yes, we started our discussion in a café to create a community which can facilitate relationship building through socio-cultural harmony among the Indians and people of Indian origin in Portugal as well as all people interested to learn more about India. In this 21st century, people are connected by various social media platforms but to satisfy the thirst our hearts need to come out from virtual to real life interactions. We came from different backgrounds and different parts of India to Portugal. We are far apart from our families, but we can celebrate joyous moments when we meet friends with similar passion. To share this excitement with more friends we embarked on our journey to create Bhoomi. We have started, hope you will also catch our train.
In the process of raising awareness about the rich Indian cultural heritage, the association aspires to promote social inclusion, integration and harmony. This association does not discriminate between ethnicity, religion, gender, caste, creed, nationality or sexual orientation.
If you are interested in becoming a member of our association or want to sponsor our initiative, you are most welcome to do so.
Please feel free to write to us at admin@bhoomi-portugal.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible. No matter what part of the world you are from, we welcome individuals from all walks of life to be a member of Bhoomi, provided all necessary conditions are met.
Happy to connect!
